אָכָאָיָה AChaAYA / Achaiah
Governs patience and secrets of nature. Loves learning; proud to accomplish the most difficult tasks.
Influence time and dates: 02:01:-02:20, 21th April until 25th April inclusively
ACHAIAH.: Her attribute is the Patient God. Her ray begins at the 31st degree of the circle up to the 35th inclusive, corresponding to the beginning of the fourth decade and to the angel called Chous, under the influence of Mercury. He presides over the following days: 26th March, 6th June, 17th August, 28th October, and 8th January.
This angel rules over patience; she reveals the secrets of nature; she influences the propagation of knowledge and industry. The person born under this influence will love to learn about useful subjects; she will glory in executing the most difficult works, and will discover many useful practices of the arts.
The negative side of this angel is the enemy of knowledge; she rules over negligence, laziness, and insouciance for study.

FIRST CONVERSATION
Wordless quiet; watchful presence. Many small things move constantly, taking shape. Crystalline structures. Fractals. A vast mantle full of hands, weaving nets like dreamcatchers.
“Angel, what is your office?” To make perfect what has been undertaken; to test and refine; to richen and develop, that what was planted as a seed may be fully understood and brought to fruit.
“Do you have a message for myself and those who work with angels?” Pray with the work of your hands. Do not want aimlessly, but create often. Find wonder in the very small things. Lay stone on stone. Remember your offerings. “Angel, please help me to come to fruition regarding my living in the world–how shall I find satisfaction?” Look for the moments of quiet; lean into them. Each day open a little more. The world is full of blessing; you must be quiet and still to recieved it, and awake and relaxed to percieve it. Do not despair; all your prayers are heard and the answers prepared.
SECOND CONVERSATION
I’m starting to see major synchronicities between my original walk notes and my life. For instance, in my first Achaiah call, one significant image was “a vast mantle of hands weaving nets like dreamcatchers.” This year, during Achaiah’s time, I got commissioned to design a logo to feature–you guessed it–many hands weaving at once. This little thrill of joy and confirmation of the magic at play made me very happy.
For this call, I was in rough shape–overworked, underslept, with intense abdominal pains, likely from a pulled muscle. Contact begins with a feeling of something trying to come through static in my frontal lobe. Dogs bark, airplanes roar, my body aches. I am glad for the quiet of the altar space.
“Angel, show thyself that I may know thee.” A low-resolution image of black vulture wings, spread and seen from behind; a head like a shining cube. I am riding, gently, born over a swampy land. The sun is bright, but it’s colder than the day has been. We land in a glade, on a mound. It is made of bones. Light from an oil lamp within, held by a being like a badger, one of my healers. I am made to lie on a bed of light, and dream during the day. I hear tea being poured. There is birdsong, and I can see the trees flowering between the bones.
“Angel, I pray for time to meet the commitments I have made, and grace for my slowness in meeting them.” The badger-being is human under a heavy skin. They are getting younger as I watch, black hair, bright eyes, bright teeth. It’s the tea. There is time for everything. I know the vulture-being is nearby, patiently waiting.
“Angel, what is your message for me at this time?” You have come; it is enough. Don’t you know to move slowly in the spring, and let the sun warm you? Relax, get well, and do your work. There are many bright moments before you; let them come to you slowly, savored.
“Thank you angel. I’m ready to go.” Only a quick shadow of wings, and I’m home again.
