 מֵבֵהֵיָה MeBeHeYA / Mebahiah

Influence time and dates: 18:01 – 18:20, December 20 through 24. He rules over the following days: May 13, July 24, October 4, December 15, February 25.

MEBAHIAH. Her attribute is the Eternal God. Her ray commences from the 271st degree up to the 275th degree inclusive, corresponding to the twenty-eighth decade and to the angel called Smat, under the influence of Jupiter.

She is good for obtaining consolation and for those who wish to have children. This angel rules over ethics and true religion; she influences those who protect them with all their power and spread them by all skilful means. The person born under this influence will be distinguished by their good works, their piety, and their zeal for completing their duties before the Gods and the humans.

The negative side of this angel is the enemy of virtue; she influences all those who wish to destroy religion and those who protect it, in order to prevent the great work of the regeneration of the human race.

FIRST CONVERSATION

Contact begins with the impression of two figures in the candle flames, facing each other; the rest of the world fades to black.

“Angel, show thyself that I may know thee.” The figure/flame on the left remains still, while on the right it moves and flickers. The space between them is charged with tension. The image shifts to show a vertical pillar or rod, with a twining vine bearing trumpet-like flowers spiralling along its length, and the flowers contain gates to different worlds; I see them like galaxies amid the blossoms. The flowers alternate left and right, three on either side of the pole, and a seventh at the top, fully open, with the planet Earth inside, held up on either side by androgynous winged figures.

“Angel, what is your office concerning me?” A voice like multiple harps, playing in harmony: We extend our love to you, which lasts forever, that you may be also in the eternal presence, for your seed already moves within its mother, and your generations are prepared. We counsel you thus: that the time of your material existence is precious, and every moment treasured up against the day when the Everlasting shall withdraw into themselves, and then each thing shall be made new, and the passing world reborn, and you with it, but not as before, for what lasts forever lives forever and is never finished.

“Angel, what is important for me to do with my lifetime?” Live! The dead proceed by straight lines and narrow, but life is the flower of death, and grows wild. Your body must be like the living torch–the image of the flowering rod–that brings light to the darkness of spirit: Be present, for each moment is eternal and free, and the living life leads where the mind can only follow. Thus are we the angels created for you, and the humans who are our children are the redeemers of the heavenly host: We are the gardeners, but you are the flower, your doing the fruit, your souls the seed that contains worlds without end.

But two are needed for the act of creation, that the world may be fruitful and no sterile reproduction; thus has it always been and so shall be: Mother, Father, Holy Child; bride, bridegroom, and issue of blood; the artist, the inspiration, the living art. Understand well: Two hold the gate, and the spirit passes through into life as the third.

The image begins to transform: I see along the inside length of the rod as a hollow ribbed tunnel or tube; on either side are flashing lights, alternating left and right. I move along it at great speed, spiralling; then the tunnel splits and branches into countless similar iterations, each a little bit different; now the space blossoms outward; I emerge and see them structure from outside, as these countless flowering tubes eventually create an entire landscape like a hyperdimensional garden, where every thing is part of a gate to other things. The whole is alive and connected by these living, crystalline tubes. It is like Eden, and I see in the middle an Adam and Eve, naked and pangendered, embrace standing, with a serpent coiling around them both, and an apple between them.

“Angel, what message for those who talk to angels?” Be fertile, go beyond yourself, make love to the many worlds in all things, let there be fruit borne within and without. Your actions in this are the prayer and the purpose of eternities.

SECOND CONVERSATION

Contact begins with the image of a spray of flowers, which grows and takes the form of a pregnant woman; behind her, holding her belly, a bearded figure. The flowers continue to unfold around them, and the figures transition to a mother holding a child to her breast, herself held by the father. These three and the flowers are a single being, coming from one root, which takes the form of a vast branching network like a genealogical chart. It gives rise also to many other figures similar to the first, but in many different configurations: Some stand alone and provide shelter for the children who play around their feet; others stand in clumps, with many mothers and fathers and children together; or a mother surrounded by many fathers, or a father by many mothers, and countless children about them all, and countless flowers. It is a lush and pleasant garden.

Above this scene, I see the angel itself, in the form of a constantly shifting sphere made of bodies in all stages of copulation, pregnancy, giving birth, nursing: a flowering of human fecundity, a blossom of flesh and fertility. It is borne aloft by four winged beings, male, female, hermaphroditic, and one without sex, and the voice of the angel is soft and pleasant.

Are you afraid of me, child of time? I am your mother and father. Would you work in the name of the gods? Then you work my work, who gives rise to all that is born in the womb of time. Would you create, O created one? Then make yourself like unto me, who am a center of relation, the connection which causes life to flourish eternally, and fear me not, who am the death of your isolation and the redeemer of the desolate ones: for I am that which was, is, and cometh, and nothing is born in this world save by the union I bring — to die into the Other, to become more than self, to be fertilized by what Is, to give yourself to that which comes — and it matters not how you bring forth what lives beyond you, but take care for what you birth, and with whom you engender new life. For this is your salvation from time, that you offer yourself and the fruits of your being toward eternity.

Nor think that I mean this alone for those who bring forth according to the flesh, for all creation is sacred, and the barren who give their lives in spirit live on eternally, even as those whose children inherit the land. But the union of father and mother is most sacred and pleasing unto me, and the angels rejoice over each birth, and this shall be the type and model of your holy rites, for by this means are brought forth all your kind.

Nor think to create of yourself alone, for it is connection that brings forth, relation that flourishes, belonging that gives bounty toward eternity. Therefore, in giving beyond, in going beyond, you are fulfilled and made whole. The earth is blessed in every true act of sex, in every birth replenished, in creation adorned, in the love of its parts made beautiful among the halls of eternity, which are the home of the gods.
